Welcome to the Sutton Group Food and Dairy Division website. Sutton Group is a privately owned family business with Food and Dairy manufacturing facilities in Auckland, New Zealand. We are proud to supply a range of high quality infant formulas, nutritional powders, and a variety of dairy powders. We specialize in a complete service to provide ready to export infant formulas, nutritional powders and other dairy powders in consumer packs. We can offer consumer packs in a range of packaging options, including both sachets and cans. We are a New Zealand Food Safety registered manufacturer of infant formula, nutritional powders and dairy powders. We are currently making products for multi national companies and are exporting products to Asia, the Middle East and Europe.

About Sutton Group Food and Dairy Manufacturing Division

Our Dairy expertise has been built on New Zealand's highly regarded reputation as being one of the world leaders in premium quality, dairy production. We are in the enviable position of being able to supply consistently high quality, safe dairy products to local and international clients. Sutton Group was founded in 1987 and commenced its Dairy operation in 1997. In 2004 we moved our Dairy manufacturing plant to new premises which were built specifically to manufacture infant formulas, nutritional powders, and pack milk and other powder based products. Our Dairy facility has been built using knowledge sourced from around the world by our engineering company. The equipment in our facility was either built by Sutton Engineering or sourced from Europe. We have continually improved our Dairy manufacturing plant over the last five years. We have a plant capacity of approximately 80,000 MT utilizing multiple can and sachet lines.

The NZ Dairy Industry

Dairy products made from New Zealand milk have a beautiful unique flavour. The temperate climate, the abundance of lush pastures and clean water provide New Zealand world class conditions for Dairy production. Dairy farmers in New Zealand are generally part of a co-operative and supply milk to large scale milk processing plants. This efficient system, along with high research and development investment, has contributed to the Dairy industry becoming the most prominent industry in New Zealand. Approximately 95% of New Zealand Dairy products are exported with a value of over $11 billion. Sutton Group is proud to be part of the New Zealand Dairy Industry.

Sutton Group are consumer pack specialists, we do not supply bulk product. We manufacture infant formulas, functional foods, colostrum powder, whey protein powders, flavoured drink mixes and nutritional support products for those who are elderly or immune compromised. Our experienced Sales and Technical teams work closely with customers to provide ready to export consumer packs. The infant formulas, nutritional support powders, and functional foods, are designed to meet the specific regulatory requirements and nutritional needs of each market. Our Research and Development technologists are able to provide up to date information on dietary requirements and provide formulations for new products.

Packaging

	PACKAGING OPTIONS We can offer a variety of packaging options to suit individual customer requirements including: Cans ~ Vacuum packed Cans ~ Nitrogen flushed Tubs Sachets Pouches

Cans

In 2008 we invested in a steel can manufacturing plant with a joint venture partner to secure supply of high quality steel cans. Our can manufacturing plant produces both 99mm and 127mm cans, with very high quality print. The cans are available beaded and non- beaded. During the manufacturing process our canned infant formulas and nutritional dairy powders are vacuum packed to ensure optimum condition.

Sachets

Sutton Group can produce sachets from 1gram, to 3kg.These are available in a variety of laminates and foils.

Purchasing Products

Sutton Group will only manufacture products which meet all dietary and regulatory criteria. We are interested in supplying companies we can build long term relationships with. We cannot provide pricing on an ad hoc basis as all products are designed specifically for each client. Payment terms are by letter of credit only.
